Lateral Flow Tests

Kidney injury molecule-1 (KIM-1) is a type I membrane glycoprotein containing a novel six-cysteine immunoglobulin-like domain and a mucin-rich extracellular region. KIM-1 levels increase considerably after initiation of kidney injury, especially in the context of ischemia, making KIM-1 an ideal biomarker for early kidney damage. Likewise KIM-1 level can be used as parameter in nephrotoxicity testing of drugs, after organ rejection in kidney transplantations, in chronic kidney insufficiency, by renal carcinoma and other kidney diseases (for instance polycystic kidney disease).

We also offer Iso-Gold Lateral Flow assays for fast isotyping of mouse monoclonal antibody including kappa/lamda chain determination.
