Additional Product Information
The reactivity of the antiserum is directed to the subclass IgG3. It does not react with other subclasses of IgG, IgG/Fab fragments, IgM and IgA or any non-Ig protein in mouse serum, as tested by immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion. In immunoelectrophoresis use 2 ?l or equivalent against 120 ?l antiserum. In double radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony) use a rosette arrangement with 10 ?l antiserum in a 3 mm diameter centre well and 2 ?l serum samples (neat and diluted) in 2 mm diameter peripheral wells.
Delipidated, heat inactivated, lyophilized, stable whole antiserum No preservative added, as it may interfere with the antibody activity. Total protein and IgG concentration in the antiserum are comparable to those of pooled normal goat serum. No foreign proteins added. Reconstitute the lyophilized antiserum by adding 1 ml sterile distilled water.
